Cathy,

You're free to use any photos you find on our site. You may find some

better photos at the location below, though:

http://www.news.navy.mil/view_galleries.asp

Same rule applies there ... the photos on that site are public domain so

you can use them as you please.

Sounds like you're doing something real good.  Just about every

occupation in the military requires some level of math and science

skills. Some of the more exciting ones might be Naval Aviators

(helicopter & fighter pilots), Navy Divers, Navy SEALS ...

Good luck, and please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Send a link to your site when it's done...I wouldn't mind looking at it.

Respectfully,   Ron

Subject: Permission to use your graphic

In April of 2003, Mainland High School received a state Enhancing

Education

through Teaching with Technology (EETT) Grant. Our purpose is to design and

develop an online, integrated math and science learning environment

called AlgebraLAB. One component of the project involves creating a series of

occupational profiles that show students the connection between math and

science skills in real world careers.

As the program manager representing this grant we would like permission

to use on our site the following graphic:

that we viewed at

 http://www.safetycenter.navy.mil/aviation/operations/default.htm

We will link a bibliography entry back to your webpage.

Thank you for considering our request.
