Algebra I Recipe: Writing Equations in y = mx + b when Given the Slope and the Y-intercept
Steps
  1. Use y = mx + b.
  2. Substitute the slope value in place of "m".
  3. Substitute the y-intercept value in place of "b".
ExamplesExamples:
m = (-3/4) and b = (7/3)
m = -2 and b = (4/7)
m = (1/5) and b = -6
